I cant understand why the developers dont update the iphone 5 screen compatibility..nearly all games I bought the last years got updated. I takes a lot of the game experience without the screen compatibilty. Everything else like music, gameplay and story are great.

Please try to fix the game for iOS 9.0.2 I have high respect for your work, but this delayed update disappointed me...please fix the bug fast

I cant give a full review yet because the game has only been on the app store for about 12 hours. So far, I am seeing exactly what we have come to expect from a square jrpg. It is not innovative or original, and if you have been under a rock since FF1 you will still be in familiar territory, and to be honest I am ok with that. I am ok with this, because this game does everything really well. The game mechanics are great, production value is amazing, and the battle system works well with the multi touch. This game once again shows how the gap between mobile and console gaming is shortening in length. Using AirPlay on an HDTV really shows how phenomenal the graphics are, and you forget that its being projected by a smartphone. The price tag is steap, but remember this is not angry birds. This is a full fledge 50 hour plus square production. If this was on the vita we would be seeing a 49.99$ price tag. So please stop complaining about the price, because in all fairness this is the path we want. More in depth fully polished gameplay. If square is going to take the time and make a real go at ios gaming then I will hands down reward them with my dollar. If you are looking for a console like rpg thats not infinite blade 2 then this is. You will be amazed at what this game does well.

I love this game, its fantastic and all the wonderful things a square game should be, so far its shaping up to be better then any other in the series. My only issue is the same I have with others, the voice overs drive me insane!! I dont speak Japanese why would I want half a gig of it on my iPod? Honestly I know you can turn it off but it should have been an in app purchase or something cause this game is huge.

This app is easily one of my favorites! It only took ten minutes, and it already deserving of 5 stars! It has the classic Chaos Rings feeling, and it also delivers an extraordinary new experience! Congratulations to Square Enix!

this is a great sequel to the previous game, chaos rings and chaos rings omega. stunning visuals and amazing gameplay! im currently playing through it and i love how they included piu piu back in the game !! :D

Crisp graphics, completely different story lines. New enemies, this game is amazing. While being a bit pricey, the game imo is worth it. While having subtle similarities to the previous games, you wont feel like its the same

finally a real polished rpg, its final fantasy for handheld devices its different story different character

While CR Omega felt very recycled, Im happy to report that we have fresh levels, monsters, characters, and plot (kinda). The Almighty got replaced by The Creator. Definitely an upgrade for the Chaos Rings saga though.

17.99 sound like a steep price, but the game packs more than enough content. Hopefully the FPS lag is fixed, and the graphics are patched. There is currently a noticeable amount of visual glitches.

I bought this game alongside a console RPG. To put it into perspective, Ive spent one hour with the console title and 15 on this so far. Incredible story plot, great soundtrack and character development... Completely worth the price considering the content, graphics and enjoyment derived on an iOS game that far surpasses any enjoyment Ive had with the other console game.

Bought this game on the day it came out in App Store(just saw it by accident). I didnt get my hands on it until today. SE games are always great but meanwhile amazingly expensive, however the existences of all three Chaos Rings in my iphone can prove your work! Since this game didnt appear on your official website, I think it is more like a pre-announce version or so? Few problems though, sometimes the buttons gets laggy( not response upon pressed). Some times the voice acting just disappears( or maybe it just isnt there sometimes.). The thing I like, is the voice actor of Orlando. I feel very pleased listening to Sakata Gintokis voice in game, but I mean, come on! Dont make him a character who dies at the very beginning of the game!! So sad

I love everything about this game! The graphics, the music, the story line,etc. Although the gameplay is the same, it does not affect the game itself. Keep up the good work SE!

This game is the best. Majority of games automatically turned off but this didnt. And i love the storyy

Love it, little bit pricy but worth every single penny

Price dropped by $5 a week after I bought it. Still worth it though! A little bit easy so far. Didnt get stumped on a fight until red dragon. Has a system like ff7 materia, but called sopia... Anyways, GET THIS GAME!

The first game was excellent dont get me wrong.but this game feels much. Better to play controls seems a bit sensitive but thats my only complaint other then its a bit pricy. The achievements are a nice welcome as well. I hope to see more apps from square-Enix as they are my favorite for jrpgs :) keep them coming square but maby work on the sensitive control. Thing a bit. It could be my small fingers though. ;)

Has every aspect an RPG needs. Great story, addictive gameplay, long gameplay, battery doesnt drain fast, overall 10 stars. Even at $20 its way worth it you wont regret it. Far better than the first chaos rings
